Solar System Safari

A jungle adventurer uses a magical camera to take visitors on an exciting safari through the Solar System. The sun, moon, planets, and dwarf planets come to life, taking on unique personalities and describing their own characteristics and eccentricities. Students will learn about the characteristics of planets, as well as the current planetary status of Pluto. Recommended for ages 5 and older.
Destination Moon

Destination Moon is an original production that depicts the triumphs of the Apollo missions, knowledge gained from scientific studies, and visions for possible future human lunar exploration. Come relive the excitement of these great voyages or share them with your children and inspire them to reach for the stars! Recommended for ages 9 and older.

Join student witch Holly Ween, and Jack o’Lantern, the pumpkin comedian, as they explore Halloween history and traditions, the constellations of autumn and winter and what causes the phases of the Moon. Recommended for families with children ages 4 and older.

Many of our favorite holiday traditions have come to us from ancient Winter Solstice celebrations from around the world. Narrated by Public Radio’s Noah Adams, this program also explores possible astronomical explanations for the Christmas Star.
